Back when Chuck Wolffer first picked up an accordion, all the kids were taking lessons. He says "it was forced on me." with  chuckle. He says when Rock N' Roll came along he put his accordion away in the closet and started playing the trombone.

When Chuck turned 50 he bought a new accordion and "started playing out a little bit." A retired social studies teacher, Chuck says getting back into the accordion was easy "it's like a bicycle" he says, "at a certain point you can do most anything with it."

These days he plays out when he can and will dress in different outfits depending on his venue. Chuck is 81 now and says that he donates the money he makes playing the accordion to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation because his granddaughter has cystic fibrosis.

Chuck Wolffer is also an honored member of Buffalo Clown Alley.
