Braymiller Market in Hamburg opened in the early 1940s. It hasn't changed much over the years but it has changed hands.

Stuart Green took ownership in January after a 25 year career as an insurance broker. He said, "All my insurance friends are jealous of me not sitting behind a desk anymore."

Green plans to keep Braymiller's the same family-friendly spot it has always been, featuring fresh produce, a well stocked deli and home made baked goods.

There have been some small changes according to the new owner. "We want to be more friendly to the environment; we have reduced foam packaging in the deli."

Green had some previous experience in this kind of work, he actually worked at Braymiller Market when he was in high school. "I worked out front cashing people. As a young guy I learned to work hard," Green recalled.

It may be true that you can't go home but Stuart Green is proving you can return to the place you worked in high school, quite successfully. More information aboutBraymiller Market at their website.
