You can help a teacher from Grand Island who was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash.

Last June, Dana Papaj was out walking her dog when a pickup truck clipped her, causing serious head trauma. The driver of that truck, 27-year-old Edward Kuebler III, was sentenced to one to three years in prison for leaving the scene.

On Friday evening, you can head out to the Radisson Hotel on Grand Island for the "Dedicated to Dana" event. There will be basket raffles, 50/50 splits and even chances at cash prizes!

The event runs from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Admission is $20 per person, and all proceeds go towards Papaj's medical costs as she continues recovering.
