Bradley sent a statement Friday morning. 7 Eyewitness News is withholding the name of the child in the interest of her family's privacy.

The statement reads:

The District's foremost concern is the safety and welfare of our students and staff, and we are providing support for [her] friends, classmates, and teachers through district staff and the building-level student services team, as well as identifying other available  support services in the community.  The District has also been in contact with our school physician and county health authorities.
