A former doctor who practiced in Depew, now a registered sex offender, is wanted by the Erie County Sheriff's Office for failing to report a change of address.

The sheriff's office issued a warrant for the arrest of 65-year-old Dharam Garg on August 11. Garg pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal sexual act in September of 2014. He was sentenced later that year to one year in jail.

Prosecutors initially accused the doctor of having sexual intercourse with four patients on multiple occasions in his Depew office between April 2011 and November 2012.

Garg surrendered his medical license. Terms of his sentence also included registering as a sex offender, which requires him to update law enforcement when he changes his residence. According to the warrant, Garg has failed to comply with this requirement.

Dharam Garg's last known address is listed on the warrant as being on Shimerville Road in Clarence Center. The Erie County Sheriff's Office asks anyone with information to call (716) 858-2903.
