A firefighter was hurt working an overnight fire, on North Park Avenue, overnight Monday.

We're told the firefighter suffered a back injury and was sent to Buffalo General Hospital.

The fire started about 1:40 a.m. Monday.  The house was occupied.  The Red Cross was called to help three adults.

Firefighters say the fire started on the second floor and spread into the attic.

It caused about $225,000 in damage.

That was the third fire in four hours that this crew would battle in cold temperatures.

Firefighters didn't have a chance to "thaw out" according to the fire chief at the scene, before being called here.

Firefighters also worked a fire at 372 Humboldt about 11:00 p.m. Sunday.

Crews say fire started on the first floor and spread throughout the house.

No one was hurt.  The fire is under investigation.
