WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WKBW) - Animal caregivers at the SPCA Serving Erie County are working with a baby beaver who was separated from his mother.
The beaver was brought to the facility last night. Caregivers say he appeared to be in good health, and that he was swimming well alone.
Since the beaver appears to be healthy, the SPCA employees are hoping to reunite him with his mother. They say they'll be doing some investigating to find out where he was found, and under what circumstances.
