Elevated go-kart track open for business in the Falls

The wait is over. Niagara Speedway, a unique multi-level go-karting experience is now officially open for business in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The track opened on May 24th and racing fans have been flocking to the attraction. 

"We have been running back-to-back races constantly and it has been received fantastically by everyone that has been on it" said Joel Noden, the Director of Marketing for HOCO Fun by the Falls. 

The spiraling track, located on Clifton Hill in the Falls, is touted as "North America's largest elevated go-kart track facility" and is the first of it's kind in Canada. The track spirals up 40 feet into a roller coaster like ramp building speed near the bottom before transitioning into a formula race format course. 

Each race costs twelve dollars (CAD) and runs around five minutes long. Drivers must be at least 58 inches tall. Passengers can be 40 inches. Niagara Speedway is open seven days a week.
