Sweet Buffalo hosted the Rockin' Egg Hunt Charity Event that took place at Harlem Road Park in West Seneca on Saturday morning to benefit a 10-year-old boy who is battling cancer.

"Can't believe how many people are here... what they're doing for him... for us," Kerry Miller, mother, said.

TJ Ackley was diagnosed with a neuroblastoma and bone cancer in 2013 at the age of five. He was cancer free until January when the stage four cancer returned.

Sweet Buffalo Rocks is a group that shares inspirational messages on rocks that are then hidden throughout the city for the community to find.

Families donated money to take part in the egg hunt. Kids then collected eggs to turn them in for a sweet buffalo rock.

Nearly $2,000 was raised and will go to the family as they prepare to move for TJ's treatments.
