The Village of East Aurora is letting up on its drive-thru ban so that Mighty Taco can continue work on its new project.
On Thursday, the Village of East Aurora Zoning Board of Appeals approved a use variance for the Mighty Taco drive-thru at East Aurora Village Shopping Center.
Current zoning guidelines restrict any business from opening up with a drive-thru except the ones already there. That includes McDonald's, Burger King, and Tim Horton's.
With the approval, Mighty Taco can now move forward with development at the old Goodyear Tire on Grey Street.
