Drunk & Deadly: hit & run driver sentenced in crash that killed teenager

A Cheektowaga man will spend the next six years in prison for the hit and run crash that killed a teenager.

37-year-old Paul Hintermeier was driving drunk with a B.A.C. level twice the legal limit when he hit Damian Garra.  18-year-old Garra was riding his bike on Shanley Street last August when he was hit.  The teen later died from his injuries.

Hintermeier pleaded guilty to the charges against him in January.
