The drugged driver who injured three children in a crash in Cheektowaga last summer learned her fate on Wednesday.
24-year-old Amber Miller will send the next six months in jail and five years on probation. The Cheektowaga woman was driving while impaired by alprazolamm, a depressant, when she swerved across the road hitting three children. This happened in July of 2016 on Central Boulevard in Cheektowaga.
As a result of the collision, a 12-year-old boy suffered a brain bleed and is still recovering nearly a year later. The two other victims, aged 15 and 12 also suffered physical injuries.
