You better watch out but you definitely won’t be crying when Santa Claus – or a thousand versions of the big man in red – descends on Buffalo this weekend.

This Saturday is the 5th annual SantaCon in the Queen City. It’s a bar crawl with a purpose – to collect toys for the Boys & Girls Club of the Northtowns.

Last year, more than 700 people donned the red suit or an alternative, like an elf outfit, reindeer or ugly sweater, and gave more than 400 toys to charity.

This year organizers hope to see more than 1,000 people attend SantaCon, which begins Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and runs through 7 p.m.

Register at the Labatt Blue tent outside of D’Arcy McGee’s on Franklin Street or pay the $10 registration fee early and enter to win a free ride on the Bottoms Up Party Bus.

Registration includes free entrance to D’Arcy McGees, Soho Burger Bar, The Lodge, Bottoms Up, 67 West, Tap House, and Indulge, as well as food and drink specials and a special treat from Labatt Blue, the event sponsor.

You can find more information on SantaCon Buffalo’s Facebook event page.
