The Diocese of Buffalo has removed a priest from active ministry at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine.
A complaint of harassment was made against a Barnabite priest. According to the Buffalo News, his name is Rev. John Paul Bahati.
A statement from the Diocese of Buffalo says an investigation was initiated immediately after the claim. Based on the investigation, Bishop Malone removed the priest. Because the incident involved a Barnabite priest, representatives of that religion are now responsible for handling the matter.
