April is Oral Cancer Awareness Month, and a local dentist is marking the occasion with a tribute to Buffalo Bill Hall of Famer, Jim Kelly.
Westermeier Martin Dental Care will be offering free oral cancer screenings on April 12th at its Amherst and East Aurora offices.
Jim Kelly is a patient at Westermeier Martin Dental Care.
The screenings are open to the public and walk-ins are welcome. The screenings will start at 8:00 a.m. and run until 5:00 p.m.
According to the Oral Cancer Foundation, nearly 50,000 new cases are diagnosed each year.
