Darien Lake is welcoming Six Flag's Fright Fest and making it bigger and scarier than ever.

There will be seven new nightmare attractions to scare everyone. There will be three mazes and four date-to-enter scare zones, along with zombies lurking around every corner. To make sure you're terrified, Darien Lake will take away the lights on some of the coasters, meaning you're facing your fears in total darkness.

“Darien Lake is thrilled to bring top-level, terrifying thrills to our guests with an incredible lineup of truly frightening attractions and entertainment,” stated Park President Chris Thorpe. “Fright Fest is the ultimate national Halloween event and we are excited to present our biggest and scariest event yet.”

For an additional fee, if you dare, you can see Hotel Terror: 7 Deadly Sins, a horrific hotel where guests are condemned to a life of suffering; Jungle Apocalypse: a forsaken island with ancient ruins, secrets and a tribe of worshippers looking for a human sacrifice and Camp Scumshine: winding paths of death and despair that were once Camp Sunshine. The Boogey man is real and he could be looking for you!

The four park scare zones will leave you nowhere to hide. You can travel through the Passage of the Damned, Creep Show Freak Show, Vodoo Curse and Screampunk. Not for the faint of heart, entertainment includes Big Top Freaks, a showcase of hard-to-watch feats of physical endurance.

For the little monsters, trick-or-treat and Halloween crafts will be available during the day.

Fright Fest runs as follows:

6 p.m. to 11 p.m. September 28, October 5, 12, 19, 26

11 a.m. to 11 p.m. September 29, October 6, 13, 20, 27

11 a.m. to 9 p.m. September 30, October 7, 14, 21, 28
