The Buffalo Bills start the season at home on Sunday facing off against the Colts at 1 p.m. There's a lot of new changes for the team and the stadium.

Under owners Terry and Kim Pegula and head coach Rex Ryan, the "Voice of the Bills: John Murphy says there's an exciting season ahead making the Bills the team to watch.

"The trade for LeSean McCoy signing Charles Clay and Percy Harden, plus they returned one of the NFL's best defenses," said Murphy.

Murphy and Ryan make their debut on the Rex Ryan Show Saturday at 7 p.m. on 7 Eyewitness News. Ryan is the first coach since 2005 to have a show on television.

If you're going to the home opener you're warned to get there as early as possible. Road work on Lake Avenue between Route 219 and Southwestern could detour your route to the stadium.

Abbott Road will also be closed the day of the game between Lots 2 and 6. Afterwards, Big Tree Road will be closed westbound to traffic between Fieldhouse Drive and Rt. 219.

There's more than 10,000 parking spaces at the stadium but they're available on a first come, first serve basis.

Erie County Sheriff's deputies say drivers who use a handicap pass without the person it's issued to in the car will have the pass confiscated. If anyone tries using a fake one, especially season ticket holders, then tickets may also be revoked.

Accessible parking will be found in Lots 2 and 6.

Before heading into the stadium leave all tobacco related products in the car. The facility has been smoke-free for years but now items like cigarettes, e-cigarettes and lighters are banned.

Security changes include walk-through metal detectors at gate three. You'll be able to leave your shoes and belts on.

The new detectors were a recommendation from the NFL and are on track to be at every gate by next year.
