"People tell me I can't do things, but they don't even try. They just say I can never do that."

Kaylin Corbran has cerebral palsy. However, that doesn't stop the 25-year-old Buffalo native from pursuing her dream.

"I want to be the first woman with CP from Buffalo to do (body building)," she said.

It all started on a whim. When Kaylin was 20, she asked her physical therapist if she could try going to her local gym.

"Do you think going to the gym would help?" she asked. "She goes, why not give it a shot."

Fast forward five years, and she's in at Catalyst Fitness every week with her trainer Trey.

"Anybody that has any excuse ever just needs to stop. Kaylin is the most positive inspiring, kind, wonderful person I've ever met."

Her favorite exercise is squatting.

To Kaylin, body building means more than just lifting weights and getting big muscles.

"Helped me overcome my insecurities of my body physically because I always used to feel like in school the outcast," she said.

Beyond body building, she has a bigger goal in mind.

"My goal is to hopefully walk by 30."
