This year marks the 36th year of raising money to help children all across Western New York.
The Buffalo News is selling a one dollar edition of their paper, with donations benefiting the John R. Oishei Children's hospital and Cradle Beach.
Since 1983, Kids Day donations have totaled more than $4.7 million.
Kids Day, presented by Tops Friendly Markets, is a huge effort that includes hundreds of corner captains, thousands of volunteers and more than 100,000 donors.
