A Buffalo man has been sentenced to 18 years to life in prison for the deadly shooting of Antoin Vance in November 2015.

Leonard Robinson pleaded guilty to one count of second degree murder in June.

Prosecutors say Robinson murdered the 42-year-old inside his home on Purdy Street on November 29th, by shooting him with an illegal pistol after an argument over money. Prosecutors say Robinson also shot and injured Vance's niece who was an innocent bystander. She has since recovered.

While fleeing the scene, Robinson drove a car off the Humboldt Parkway - crashing onto the lower section of the Kensington Expressway. He was then on the run for a month.

Robinson was eventually arrested in Los Angels, California in December.
