We all remember having to whisper quietly in the library...but it's time to see libraries as something a little different!

The Buffalo and Erie County Public Library is bringing the books, movies, CDs and resources you know and love to you with their 'Bookmobile'! Librarians aren't shushing you anymore, they're making sure you know how much energy and excitement they have to provide a love of learning and incredible resources.

This is a great way to introduce the love of reading to your children and encourage more learning outside of the classroom in a fun way. As busy parents, it's also a great way to check off errands on your list while also checking out a couple books, as the Bookmobile stops at your favorite grocery store, parks, different events around WNY, town centers and apartment buildings.

The Bookmobile is for everyone. From the families looking for new bedtime stories to people who need help using computers. Buffalo and Erie County libraries offer free computer training!

You can get a library card for free on the Bookmobile, all you need is valid ID and proof of residence. Library cards are available to anyone living, working or going to school in Erie County. You can find more information here.

Here is a schedule for where the Bookmobile will be next!
