It's not your traditional wedding dress shop. Amanda Hensley designs wedding gowns specifically for a bride's personal style.
She opened a bridal store called Luxe and Lace on Franklin Street in Buffalo.
Brides bring a photo for an idea of that they're looking for.
"I come back to them with different sketches from them to choose what them like and we can customize and build from there, so once we decide on the design we start making the pattern," Hensley said.
The dream dress comes to life. It's a one stop shop for all bridal needs. Hensley says it takes about four to six months for the dress to be made.
Luxe and Lace opened in January shortly after her own wedding, where she designed and made her own wedding dress.
The bridal store also carries other designers as well as bridesmaid dresses.
Prices start at $1,000 for customized dresses and increase from there depending on design.
