There is a hazardous materials situation at Lewiston Porter High School, 7 Eyewitness News has confirmed.

Authorities say up to 10 gallons of hydrochloric acid was mixed with a gallon of chlorine in the school's swimming pool.

According to Lewiston-Porter Central Schools spokesperson, "all students and staff have been moved from the Physical Education Wing to the main section of the High School. There is no safety concerns for our students and staff."

It is still unclear how the acid got mixed with the chlorine.
