Councilwoman Diane M. Benczkowski can declare victory over Town Clerk Alice Magierski for the Democratic nomination for Cheektowaga Supervisor.
Benczkowski won the nomination in Thursday's primary by 326 votes.
Highway Superintendent Mark D. Wagner took 55 percent of the vote to win over challenger Jerzy Galazka who only got 45 percent of the vote.
The three winning candidates in the seven way council race are incumbent Christine Adamczyk, Linda Hammer and incumbent Gerald Kaminski.
