It's once again back to Washington for the families of Flight 3407, nine years after the Continental Airlines flight crashed in Clarence Center.

The families are worried Congress will try to water down the bill they fought so hard for, to make sure all pilots have successful training before taking flight.

Jennifer West, who lost her husband Ernie on the flight has been traveling to Washington with the other families to make sure their loved ones didn't die in vain.

3407 families fear the regional airlines are trying to split hairs with the required 1500 hours of flight experience for money and staffing reasons. An FAA Advisory Committee in September supported changing the 1500 hour training rule.

"It's disheartening," said West. "It all comes down to the all mighty dollar. If they had someone on that plane they would not be like that."

Families are traveling to D.C. on Wednesday.
