A Lockport family is shaken up after a close encounter with an intruder overnight.
Niagara County Sheriff's are still looking for the suspect, who fled from the house after a 12-year-old boy living in the home stepped on the intruder.
It happened around 3 o'clock in the morning on Raymond Road. The boy woke up because he needed to go to the bathroom.
When the intruder was stepped on as the boy got out of bed, he stood up and ran out of the house.
Officers were not able to track him down, but they did find a patio chair placed against a window, and a screen popped out of it.
