One benefit of the holiday season—aside from cookies, presents and wonderful cheesy Christmas movies—is the chance to make a little extra cash when stores start their seasonal hiring. Amazon is no exception, and even better, their jobs can be done in your favorite Christmas pajamas. The company is looking for full-time and part-time seasonal work-from-home customer service associates to help during the peak holiday season.
Becoming an Amazon Customer Service Associate
Being a customer service agent at home means you'll be talking to customers via phone and live chat to help them with their orders. You'll need to pack some patience, as anyone whose lived the customer service life before knows things can get a bit stressful. You'll also need a high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least a year of experience in customer service, as well as being savvy with the internet.
Apply for a Seasonal Job at Amazon
Amazon is offering full- and part-time jobs for the holidays. For full time, you will work no more than 60 hours per week, with pay at $10 an hour. Part-timers will get 20 to 29 hours a week (and possibly up to 40) at $12 an hour.
Shifts include days, afternoons and evenings and possibly weekend hours and holidays. As is everything during the holiday season, this job is temporary and will only last about six months.
