Jackson Buyea is called “Tiny Mighty” by his family.
Jackson was born unexpectedly at 24 weeks and one day.
He required a 4 month stay in the NICU unit at Children’s Hospital until the time of his expected due date as they worked to simulate a womb-like environment so that Jackson could continue his growth until he was developed enough for survival on his own.
His family was told Jackson only had a 12% chance of making it through his first weeks.
Jackson required several treatments and surgeries to help him survive.
Jackson over came all odds.
Jackson will be celebrating his 5th birthday on April 6th.
