Local Girl Returns from Botswana, Africa

Victoria Russell, a senior at Lewiston Porter HIgh School, recently returned from Bostwana, Africa. Vickie was selected by a 28 member panel to represent the towns of Lewiston and Porter as the 2007 Community Ambassador. Community service organizations of Porter and Lewiston sponsor the Community Ambassador program as a means for global outreach and cultural education. The Community Ambassador travels to a destination over summer months and returns to share experiences with the community.

Victoria chose to go to Botswana from a number of countries. She left June 25, 2007, and returned August 1. Since then she has been preparing a presentation for interested parties.

wow she visited for a couple months...i LIVED in Zimbabwe for 4 YEARS!
