Tyler Ryan Bliss was born on May 19th to Jennifer and Technician II Shawn Bliss of Bristow, VA, originally from Cheektowaga, NY. Tyler made his first visit to his "extended" family at the age of two weeks old, and although he wasn't big enough or old enough to wear his dad's helmet, dad found a way to "fit" the helmet to Tyler. The little guy fit just perfectly inside the helmet itself. Tyler comes from a fire fighting family. Grandpa and Grandma Bliss are also fire fighters, volunteering at the South Line Fire Company for over 20 years, where Tyler's dad originally started his fire fighting days .
