Residents of Wilson take matters into their own hands a start mowing the Tuscarora State Park. The Park is an eyesore with the grass not being mowed by the Park workers. A Park official showed up and informed the residents that they had to stop mowing. I beleive it was because of liability reasons. They could afford to buy numerous new trees, put up a split rail fence, with chicken wire on it to keep out the Canadian Geese ( who just jump over it) and block many of the ideal fishing spots in the park with the fence. They could of paid wages to keep the Park looking nice.
