Help Sheldon Harmon receive his BA from Edinboro

Sheldon Harmon deserves his BA degree

Sheldon Harmon was a senior and honor student at Edinboro University. His life tragically ended in November of 2009 in an automobile accident. He would have graduated May of this year with his BA in animation and continued on to his future with Disney/Pixar. There is a huge hole in the lives of Sheldon's family and the would love for Edinboro University to issue his Bachelors Degree in animation which he had more than enough credits, and had paid his full tuition. Edinboro University apparently has a different view and doesn't want to grant the degree to Sheldon's family. I'm urging you to express to the faculty and President Brown at Edinboro University that Sheldon deserves his degree and his family deserves what small piece of closure this will give them. Check out the facebook page "What Would Sheldon Do?" for addresses and email addresses to contact Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

I sent a letter to the Edinboro President and Public Relations Department. I can't imagine why they would deny conferring Sheldon's degree. He earned it, he paid for it, now they will deny it because... ? Is there a legitimate answer? Geri Merrill

HI marksuain. I want to thank you for this article. I feel Edinboro University has failed Sheldon twice. They have a Drug and Alcohol tolerance policy and now refusing to grant his bachelors degree. Thanks again. Lorraine Harmon (Sheldon's mom)
