Danny was a Bflo. childhood friend of mine. His Mom - Peggy - was a very beautiful, gifted acoustical guitarist. She grew up in the Southwest, and she taught her son. She was a very good-hearted soul; that Danny became same is no surprise.

Like hundreds I am sure, we would love to have a Big Wheelie reunion / revival show. Hey, I might even produce it if enough of the band would be interested. Is Chuck still performing today (2011) , does anyone know what he is doing

When I met Dan Cook as a born again christian, it was probably a bit more than 20 yrs ago. It was a Christ Gospel Church in Eden N.Y. Back then Rev. Carl Brown was the Pastor. But I well remember Dan, & his motorcycle! Mr Ed

I remember yrs ago when Dan Cook left BW, he said he hadn't had a vacation in about 15 yrs, but he played guitar with my church's band while there! Even did some tricks while playing the guitar, even w/his mouth, & w/guitar between his legs..MrEd

I looked up "Big Wheelie" to see if I'd see an old guy I once went to church with in Eden N.Y. yrs ago. His name was Dan Cook, who was a great guitarist..Back then, he became a born again christian, & left the band awhile! Ed Dennis (Mr Ed)

Having lived in Buffalo until 1987, I loved this group. Didn't they also become Ceasar and the Romans (NOT the group that did those oldies but goodies), and release a single under that name in the early seventies?

i played drums for Big Wheelie in 1980 in Bradenton, Florida and he built a plexiglass wall around my drums because they were so loud. Wheelie had to bail our bass player out of jail every weekend for urinating in the parking lot. It was a great time
