I've read and heard that the Quaker Beach may or may not close, and the cabin area may close for some winter months. I have not seen or heard a credible source report that the Quaker Area is closing entirely. Where did this come from?

I think they should drill....... As long as it does not have significant environmental effects. Use some of the money to keep it up by CREATING JOBS. There is an idea. This way people can afford to visit the park and the state can afford lifegua

This is a travesty to man kind. How can you put a price on Allegany State park. Oil prices and natural gas prices will keep going up and we will continue to buy foreign oil. All this will do is kill an eco system, and take away one a beautiful place.
