The Mozart Requiem - March 7, 2010

A requiem mass, in Roman Catholic and some Protestant traditions, is celebrated to honor and commend a departed soul or souls. March 7, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, the Mozart Requiem will be performed as Mozart intended, in a church sanctuary. His final composition, written as Mozart faced his own imminent death, The Requiem is universally recognized as one of music’s greatest masterpieces.

The Mozart Requiem will be performed by the Westminster Choir, Soloists & Chamber Orchestra conducted by Richard Herr, Director of Music Ministries.
