My fiance' and I

Be Aware of Long Term Headaches

On May 9th, 2007 my 28 year old fiance' went to his Primary Doctor for some routine blood work results and told her about the headaches he has been having and when he described them she sent him to the hospital for testing and found out that he had a tumor. The next day we were told to go to Millard Fillmore Gates Hospital in Buffalo and they admitted him for more testing. He has had a brain surgery on May 14th and on May 23rd. The tumor is Malignant (which is fast growing cancerous tumor) and they tried to remove the tumor during the second surgery but was unsuccessful. Starting on June 19 he has to start his Radiation treatments along with Cemotherapy treatments for six weeks. We are getting married July 7, 2007 and the doctors thinks he will be fine, just fatigued. I just wanted to let everyone be aware that if you have significant headache pain and pressure behind your eyes, please, please, tell your doctor. We have to post pone our honeymoon until we feel he is able to travel. Again please don't wait to get your headaches checked. It could have been a lot more serieous if the tumor had been on the left side. Thank goodness it was on the right side. It was the size of a orange that if you squished it thats what it looked like.
