I took off work Wednesday afternoon and took the hour drive from Dunkirk NY to head over to Massachusetts Avenue to see first hand what goes on and I was amazed. Truly glad to see this happen in Buffalo and well worth my time to have this experience. Way to go Buffalo with your volunteer efforts, we're talking proud!

I pray they keep up security in this area, with the history of drugs, gangs and crime. This poor families blessing can quickly turn into a nightmare. The neighbors deserve a break from the horrors and the good people need help. Keep them in your pray

I too, worked professionally as an educator while dedicating hundreds of hours over the years to community service/volunteer efforts. I would give what little I had to support my community and I'm now losing everything, too. So much for good karma..

I have worked over 40 years. I am about to lose everything. I am college educated. How do I enjoy this kind of experience? I have always volunteered and given to my community, where do I go from here?

I was fortunate enough to be selected as a volunteer, and I totally agree. What an amazing experience, not only personally but for the community and everyone involved. I can't wait until Saturday to MOVE THAT BUS!!
