YES..., Brody is still missing. Still being sought. Still being cried for. Still having all those unanswered questions lingering. With the biggest question being, WHY?
Still getting phone calls from people who want to help, who wish they can help, a couple strange calls and people calling to tell us they are praying for his return.
But none the less. Brody is still being held by someone who refuses to give him back. And thats not right.
And you know what else isn't right? Why are the people who can help, the ones with the most impact on trying to get him back, not helping?
To the news channels, why isn't Brody's picture as important to choose from as a picture of a sunset, or the trees on the lake, or a pumpkin?
Why can't his picture be shown for those few moments on television?
Isn't the News all about helping, informing, the city of good neighbors?
Wouldn't that be a wonderful story if someone did see him from your news cast and we were able to get him back?
There would be Tears of joy for the upcoming holidays, instead of continuing to walk through this house with sadness and tears of sorrow. Everyday, when driving through William St. to Harlem. Through Sloan and Lovejoy there is such a foreboding feeling rememering how we walked each and every street in the pouring rain for three days looking for Brody. Some posters still up. I can no longer stand driving home or walking into my house.
Brody is not human, I know he is an animal. And some may think of this as trivial and "just get another dog". But for those who do treat their pets "like humans", the impact is still very similiar to a person who may be missing. They cannot be replaced. The hurt and the pain of not knowing where they are, if they are alright and someone else having them goes through ones mind everyday... and it IS VERY REAL.
So, please can you help with our wish.....?.
Our wish for the Holidays... To know the happiness of being reunited with the youngest member of our family, Brody.

I would like to say thank you to all those who are still looking and trying to help. Your encouragement and prayers are truly a blessing and are still very much needed.
(BTW, they say three is a charm.... this is his third picture up here. Keep your fingers crossed for us that it will be posted on the News).
