Magnus Martensson live in concert!

Magnus Martensson, former UB professor of music and conductor turned comedian is back! Combining classical music and humor in the tradition of Victor Borge, Martensson will perform his own brand of music and comedy as the 2009-2010 North American Tour of “Excuse me, does my piano count as one carry-on?” Martensson will perform Saturday, November 7 at 8 p.m. at Lippes Concert Hall in Slee Hall on University at Buffalo’s North Campus.

THE CONCERT
A must-see for music and comedy enthusiasts alike, classical piano music and hilarious comedy will share the stage when former UB professor Magnus Martensson performs at UB's Slee Hall on Saturday, November 7th. The performance will include music by Franz Liszt, Edvard Grieg, Philip Glass, as well as a one man piano/violin rendition of Vivaldi's The Four Seasons. The concert will include some serious music, as well as old-fashioned silliness of the kind you can see Martensson perform on YouTube. Magnus Martensson has performed in prestigious venues across the country including at the United Nations, in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York. Magnus is the Music Director for the Scandinavian Chamber Orchestra of New York.

TICKETS
