They may be a small town team but they have a big goal.....under the direction of Coach Mike "Heitz" this team of only 9 girls has remained undefeated in the small school division league. They deserve the recognition as not much sporting news from the small schools in Niagara County makes it anywhere near the news. Three of these girls are Seniors this year and are tremendous athletes and scholar honor students as well. It would be so nice to see a story ran on this team and give a bit of the spotlight to this team of 9 girls that work so incredibly hard in school and in sports. The have a big meet coming up at Lakeside Beach State Park on Halloween, October 31 starting at 10 am. If a news story could be run for this team it would be fantastic. I know it is not in the "normal" news zone out here but it would truly give them a bit of honor that they deserve.
