When my husband and I were going to look at a place to rent we went to the landlord's unit and noticed this cat. He had an eye infection and looked sickly. But he bonded with my husband and with in 6 weeks of us moving in, I had come home from work and noticed that we did not have just one cat any more and he wound up getting fatter and his eye infection had cleared up with in a day or so. But he also did what most cats do not do. He as well as three other cats survived a 1408 mile trip from Texas to New York to take up residance with there human animals.
