Frontier Falcons Varsity Football won their Homecoming Game 21 - 14 over Clarence Red Devils.
After a promising 1st half wrapping up at 13 - 0, Frontier's defense was put to the test as Clarence came back with a passing game that put a quick 14 points on the board. Going into the 4th quarter, the Falcons sidelines looked somber & the stands were quiet - until Tony Mecozzi (5) caught a short pass from Nate Geary (8) and took it all the way down the field for an amazing TD finish putting the Falcons ahead at 19-13.
Equally awesome kickoff from John Ronayne (Duzer-87) and excellent work from special teams downed the ball on Clarence's own 5 yard-line!! A couple plays later, a HUGE SAFETY courtesy of Mike Kelly (28) brought the Falcons spirits and their final score into the W column!
