Disabled, recently divorced, Mom of 2 children needs help. Used to work and support family as a nurse. Now, unable to return to work-partly due to injury caused by ex-husband during domestic violence. Has no vehicle-had mini-van that ex was court ordered to pay off-he let payments lapse and van was repoed. Now depending on a few people for rides to grocery store, pharmacy, doctors appointments, etc. Poor credit due to bills with exhusband, becoming disabled, no job.Has multiple unpaid medical bills, just barely surviving month to month to pay rent and utilities.
Is there any groups-church, community that would consider hosting and organizing a benefit for this family? To help get a vehicle and pay some medical bills.
