Artists United For Human Rights

Artists United For Human Rights

On October 4, 2009, aboard the USS Little Rock, Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park, musicians and artists combine forces to support human rights. From 12n-7pm Sunday, this festival features non-stop live music, Pearl Street Grill & Brewery, Nomad Magazine, Artfully Aware, artists and business selling their wares with directors of task forces and organizations that support human rights. This all day event is free and open (including free self guided tours of all naval ships) to the public in direct support of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

This event is to support Prevent Child Abuse New York (Citizens Task Force in Child Abuse & Neglect Erie County) and Maiti Nepal, two organizations National and Global that prevent abuse on all levels.

Pearl Street has provided 2 floors at 76 Pearl Street in the case of inclement weather.
