September 4th started out as a nice sunny day but this was the opening game of the season for the Franklinville football team. The game was well attended and exciting. even the bugs came out in force to see the new panthers play.
The fog was brought in to distract the visiting Pine Valley team and did it's best to do the job, encircling the team and keeping the players "in the fog" but it just wasn't enough to pull out a win. the game ended in a win for Pine Valley 21 to Frankinville 14
