I am a volunteer firefighter in silver creek. These photos are from the aftermath of the flood of walnut creek. Our firehall doors were destroyed, a car was in our front sign, and two others were in the parking lot of the firehall. We lost one ambulance and a few firefighters lost there cars. We lost sets of firefighter turnout gear that was not ever found as of yet. A few of our items have been found as far as brant beach, items such as helmats and backboards. Few houses had garages in their backyards that were not even theres. Cleanup by the country and other village depts have been going on for 4 days. Hopefully residents will get a visit from FEMA and get somehting back.
