Shiloh hasen't always a good life here with us in Lockport, when he was born into a vary neglectfull home in Phoenix, Arizona were he was put outside and forgotten about in tempeture that could reach as high as 150 degrees he was given only a small bowl of dirty brown water, when Shiloh was about 3 months old he thought he had gotten his ticket out when a nice family adopted him, the family already had three other dogs, he found himself in a not so good home, the family the adopted Shiloh did not do any research on beagles befor choosing to bring him home, they could not handle his barking and howling all the time and asked a family friend, my aunt if she could take him untill they could rehome him, so now Shiloh is in is thrid home at only four months old, he ended up going back and forth between the two homes untill my brother John said stop, he is not a doll he needs to stay in one place so it was with my family, there he was kept on a vary short lead away from the other animals in the house, he was only off of it when he was outside, and when they were fed the food was gone befor Shiloh had gotten any, my aunt would sneak him extra so that he woulden't be hungry, in March of 2007 we had gone to Phoenix to visit and I fell inlove with Shiloh I felt so bad for him he was chained up while the other dogs got to run aound my boyfriend and I were not looking to get a dog since we do a lot of traviling and with a dog we would have to find a sitter or put him in a kennel, when we returned to Lockport we were lookig at out vacation photos and came across of of Shiloh, he looked so sad and so unloved, well me made the choice to adopt him the problem was getting him here, I had talked to his frisr adopted family and they agreed to pay his way and all the vet bills, he was a bit scarred at first but he has become a big part of out family and we love him bunches he is so spoiled and I think for the first time in his life he is really trully happy and we are to have him here with us Shiloh is 2 years old now and has been with us since he was 6 months old this is his forever home .
