This summer I realized that I have always wanted a dog and i felt that this was the first time in my life where I am fully capiable to take care of one on my own. Breaking this news to my girlfriend she was pumped and wanted a small girly dog but that wasn't for me. I always wanted a boxer since they are so loving and playful but at the time didn't realize how how hard they are to find. I had money saved up and wanted to find the perfect pup but they were so hard to find. For weeks we would search the internet and news paper for ads that had boxer pups but they were either out of price range or we would call and not have any left. Finnally at about 2 am one morning I was surfing the internet and found a ad under a lycos search engine that said that two boxer puppies were left but i figgured the ad was old. The next morning I called the number but there was no answer. After waiting and wondering if the ad was new I decided to call again and comes to find out that they did have the puppies but someone was drunk at a party and claimed them already and the woman wasnt to sure if they actully wanted them still. About a hour later i recieved a call back saying the boy was aviable with out even knowing what he looked like i said i will take him. The next morning my girlfriend and I made the trip all the way out to syracuse to pick up our new pup. We got there and he was more than you can ask for he ran right to me with his tail waggin and a huge smile on his face and I knew that he was mine. Ever since than Brody and I have been best friends and I look forward to many years to come with my new pal. =)
