I went for a stroll on the bike path near Scajaquada Creek (section next to the Tops Supermarket parking lot) and heard a rustling noise. I moved closer and saw this beautiful young deer. Speaking to her in a sing-song voice to gain her trust I was able to get close enough to snap her picture.
I've seen deer before but only once in the city, and never this close.
The Scajaquada Creek portion of the bike path is lovely this time of year, with lots of wild flowers...and now deer.
