This bird is a Killdeer... It runs around our Tops in Alden parking lot but today it did not move, even while I was just passing by 3-feet away... She sat on her nest in the gravel right there by the sidewalk until I knelt down trying to get a closer picture... Then she got up and did the famous "broken wing" act Killdeer are famous for... That's when I got the picture of the eggs.
